***Added Thoughts on 3/20/20*** Items listed below are a summary of current changes to date. It is meant to relay important information but is not meant to be complete. Executive Order 20-04 requires restaurants, bars, nightclubs and other dine in service to be drive-thru, take-out or delivery. No in person patrons through March 31st, 2020. Executive Order 20-04 requires public meetings to be limited to only essential matters critical to the operations of the City for the duration of this public health emergency. Executive Order 20-05 requires all schools in Indiana, public and private, to close and cease in-person instruction through May 1, 2020. Executive Order 20-05 bans providers of gas and electric utilities, broadband, telecommunication, water and wastewater services from discontinuing service during this state of public health emergency. Executive Order 20-05 waives late fees on the renewal of a driver’s license or an identification card, vehicle registration renewal, title transactions, salvage titles, and off-road vehicle and snowmobile titles at the BMV. Executive Order 20-05 waives late fees on property taxes in Indiana that are due on May 11th, 2020 for 60 days. Executive Order 20-06 eliminates eviction or foreclosure actions for the duration of the state of emergency.
